But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:7-9
Treasure
A treasure is something that is precious, valuable and need to be kept safe.
In the scripture above it says we have a treasure in earthen vessels. We, meaning our spiritual body is the treasure.

God made us in His image. God is the Supreme Spiritual Being. He is not made of flesh. He desires to commune with us Spirit to spirit. His Spirit to our spirit. Our spirit was made after His Spirit. This is why it is a treasure.
When we commune with God according to His desire, we have reached our highest potential. Jesus said in John 4:23-24 that the time will come when the true worshippers will worship the Father. This is who the Father is seeking. He is looking for those who will worship Him in spirit and truth.

Is He looking for you? When you go to Him in prayer is it in spirit or is it flesh? Are your prayers full of requests or is there a period of worship (something just for God)?
​
The Father is looking for those who are in earthen vessels living as spiritual, not worldly, beings. Seek His presence and rest in it. He is seeking you. He loves you and has already given you of the best, Himself.
